Orbis X
Where we're going, we don't need roads
Point to a spot on the map
When the most tarmac you want to ride is out of the car park, the Orbis X is for you. Built around a gravel groupset with less than 1:1 gearing, 50mm measured tyre clearances – and even the option for a dropper post – there are no mudguards or white bar tape . You are going to get dirty on this gravel specialist machine.
Tubeless, knobbled tyre setup is a must with a setup engineered for tackling everything from smooth gravel roads to rutted 4WD tracks. Even the less technical single track is not off-limits. This bike was created as the ultimate off-the-beaten-track machine. A tranquility enabler of such magnitude it should be up for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Fit some racks for flash packing adventures or just a big day out on roads where there are more kangaroos than cars, the only limit with the Orbis X is how far you want to take it. With the core of the X still retaining all of the refinement and engineering of the Orbis, a “gravel grinder” has never looked this good.
3D Printed Yoke
Wide rims, wider tyres. All caked in mud. You’re going to need something more than a standard bottom bracket yoke to provide all that real estate while still housing a T47 BB shell. Precision 3D printing making it all possible.
Tyre Clearance
Sure nearly all gravel rear derailleurs come with a clutch…only what if you could form the drive-side stay to be asymmetric and dropped to allow even more space. And less chance of jingle bells as you navigate the corrugations. We did precisely that.
Suicide mounts
When once around the block is not enough and that need to go a little longer is overwhelming you’re going to need water. Orbis X comes fitted with suicide cage bolts. We’re here as enablers for whatever crazy adventures you might have planned with this machine.

orbis x Geometry
If it looks like there are design cues from MTB then you would be correct. The X is as ready for the road biker going deeper off-road it is for the mountain biker looking to get out of the single track and on to something that might (vaguely) resemble a road.
Slacker head tube, shorter stem, wider bars, increased stand-over height, and a higher bottom bracket are all features that set the ‘X’ apart from the Plus in our most rugged off-road geometry.
